WHAT IS A CHANNEL MANAGER?

Bookeasy Channel Manager PartnersChannel Managers are software solutions that enable tourism operators (predominantly within the accommodation sector) to manage inventory (rates and availability) and subsequent bookings from one central location.  This inventory can then be distributed across multiple channels or OTAs (Online Travel Agents including Wotif, bookings.com, Stayz and Expedia and Bookeasy).

Bookeasy offers their own built in Channel Manager system called Resonline (user fees may be applicable), as featured in the video tutorial above. They also partner with a number of preferred channel manager software solutions.

To integrate with any preferred channel manager, accommodation operators will need to be ‘Gold Medal’ (instantly confirmation) and use the ‘Daily Rates’ option within their Bookeasy console.

WHY IS INTEGRATION WITH A CHANNEL MANAGER ESSENTIAL IN TODAY’S AGE OF ONLINE TRAVEL AGENTS?

  • More distribution channels generates more  bookings equating to more revenue
  • Reduces the time tourism operators spend managing inventory across multiple websites
  • Increases an operator’s online exposure
  • Allows tourism operators to easily manage inventory on Bookeasy
  • Allows operators to turn their own website into an e-commerce site by integrating your own booking form

HOW DO YOU LINK YOUR ACCOMMODATION TO BOOKEASY THROUGH A CHANNEL MANAGER?

Product (rooms and rates) will firstly need to be set up in Bookeasy -room types, descriptions and photos.  A link will then need to be created between Bookeasy inventory and your chosen channel manager – your channel manager will be able to give you the further information required for this process.  Channel Manager Setup Guide

CHANNEL MANAGER HELP GUIDES

As the various channel manager solutions integrate or ‘map’ with your Bookeasy console in slightly different ways , Bookeasy has reached out to their partners to provide individual Channel Manager Help Guides for different systems.

TIP:Please contact the member  team if you are unable to access your Bookeasy console and remember, if you change your Bookeasy password, you will also have to update this information in your channel manager.
