Pip Close (CEO) and Victoria Johnson (Marketing and Communications Coordinator) attended and presented at the 2014 Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN) Convention in Port Stephens in October. More than 100 representatives from regional tourism organisations attended to discuss, debate and exchange ideas about ways to grow sustainable regional destinations and to showcase regional tourism success. Pip presented on the unified branding process for the Margaret River Region, and Victoria presented on the rise of digital and social media as a challenge for regional tourism, as part of the Young Tourism Professional finalist judging process. Both presentations were extremely well received and the AMRTA congratulates both Pip and Victoria for their efforts.
