Did you know that 75% of bookings that are made through Bookeasy in WA are by Visitor Centres, and only 25% of Bookeasy bookings come through online?
Just one of the surprising facts we learned recently when Nathan Bugeja from Tourism Holdings came over in late Jan to host a series of workshops for our members on all things Bookeasy.
As part of our on-going commitment to provide dedicated support and regular training, the AMRTA and GBTA invited Nathan to the south west to present to our members, to provide more information about Bookeasy, Resonline, Room and Tour Manager, and engage with those operators who want to increase their booking potential and maximise their online distribution.
Over 80 members attended training sessions over two days held at the Quality Inn Margaret River and Bayview Geographe in Busselton.
The staff also took the opportunity to brainstorm and workshop with Nathan to develop our own knowledge even further, to find out how we could be better using the system to assist our customers and our members. It was a really intensive two days and we made sure we got the most out of his time here!
