As part of Wine Australia’s 2015 China Visitor Program, we will be collaborating with the SWDC to host an evening cocktail function with 22 leading wine trade and media representatives from China on Sunday March 22nd at Voyager Estate. We are seeking up to six wineries who would like to provide tastings at the event.  The cost to be involved in $450 and participation is on cost recovery basis. The AMRTA will be covering the costs for the dinner. For more information or to register your interest please email Johanna Hamilton.

The China Vintage Trip 2015 provides a focused, in-depth, immersive visit around Australia’s wine regions. Now in its 5th year, the visit is an educational opportunity and an incentive for influential gatekeepers to learn about Australian wine in specific regional/varietal contexts, and related food matching and lifestyle experiences. Over half the delegation are winners of the 2014 Wine Australia Awards Night, which consists of the top performing retailers, food service buyers, sommeliers, educators and media in China who are actively promoting and selling Australian wine. The other half are young professionals, key influencers and future leaders in the Chinese wine trade (see delegate list).

There are a range of other opportunities available during the visit, which will take place from Saturday 21st March 2015 to Monday 23rd March 2015.  Please see the Visitor Program. For more information on these opportunities you can contact Simon Taylor or Mat Lewis.
