Where do you operate from? We operate from the Busselton Regional Airport, however our beach landing area is on the beautiful Busselton Foreshore, 800m from the Busselton Jetty.
How long have you been in the business? We began in September 2010, so almost 5 years.
Tell us about your business? We are a team of 10, offering Tandem Skydive experiences in beautiful Busselton. Customers can jump from 10, 14 or 15,000ft over the Busselton Jetty, and land on the beach. Our team are extremely experienced, with over 20,000 skydives between them. We aim to be innovative, provide outstanding service, and have as much fun as our customers do! Last year we won the ‘Adventure Tourism’ category in the WA Tourism Awards.
What is your unique point of difference? We offer a quality product, in an outstanding location, and our customers always walk away feeling part of something special. Also, our video and photo products are TV quality, shot in High Definition, and edited uniquely for each customer. Customers are the ‘star of their own extreme sports video,’ and they love to share this with family and friends.
Do you have any new updates to share? One of our very special customers from Busselton has been named as an ambassador for the Active City to Surf. We have some really experienced Skydive Instructors that work for our team, and because of this, we are able to cater to customers with special needs and disabilities. It’s great to be able to help someone achieve their dream to skydive, when they haven’t been able to elsewhere.
Favourite part of the job? During the season, we spot whales in Geographe Bay from 15,000ft above. It’s amazing!
What do you love about the Margaret River Region? It’s a great place to run a business. We have felt nothing but a great sense of support from our community and industry peers since we started operating in 2010. Plus the wine!
