A snapshot of what’s happening with your fellow members and in the local community.

Vasse Virgin – have two new DIY workshops. The Lip Balm classes are incredibly popular and at just $70 per person run for approximately 45 minutes. Create your own lip balms using natural ingredients. Participants have the option to choose to craft two lip balms using natural flavours (such as mandarin, lavender or aniseed) or to keep them neutral.

Room Aroma is a new workshop in which you get to craft one of our beautiful room fragrances as well as creating your own special blend. Choose essential oils to alleviate mental stress, encourage relaxation, assist with sleeping or even experiment with a pick-me-up! These classes are approximately 1 hour long, beginning at 2pm and are $120 per person.

The classes are available each week, pending available seats and are held in their brand new, purpose-built workshop room at the Soap Factory with all ingredients, equipment and personal safety gear are included.

South West Eco Discoveries –  have just become accredited with both ATAP and Ecotourism Australia. We know how much of a process this can be, well done guys for contributing to a fantastic standard of tour products and experience for our visitors.

CinefestOZ – Desert War and Show Me the Magic join the CinéfestOZ documentary line-up in an expanded festival program that will see FREE community screenings of short films and documentaries held in Busselton, Bunbury, Margaret River and Augusta. Click here for more.

Morries Anytime – have launched a new winter menu. The new offerings have Executive Chef Tony Howells slightly french bistro influence, and a focus on delectable dessert. Yum! Pop in and experience for yourself today.

Aravina Estate – scored a coveted 95 points from James Halliday for their 2014 Wildwood Ridge Reserve Margaret River Chardonnay, as featured in the current July Wine Companion magazine.

Wills Domain – Will close the last two weeks of August for some exciting renovations to the cellar door and restaurant. Look out for a new look come 1 September which celebrates  a more intimate and textured dining experience as well as some new features for the cellar door.

Samudra – Has now closed its cafe and eco-store to concentrate on their Yoga and Wellness experiences.
