Singapore Experiences an MRR Culinary Journey

Forty of Singapore’s top travel agents, wine and food media representatives, and leading business people were treated to a very exclusive Margaret River Region dining experience on August 14.

The guests were invited to an amazing 4-course lunch prepared by chef Seth James from Wills Domain in collaboration with chef Jonathon Sparber from The Pelican Restaurant, exhibiting some of the finest elements of our regional cuisine.

Each course was accompanied by a variety of superb wines brought to Singapore by six of the region’s wineries, a number who also attended the lunch and connected with the guests. There were also special gifts and examples of regional produce on display for the guests to sample, all helping to showcase the special quality and delights of the region.

The lunch was the first collaborative event organised by MRBTA and the South West Development Commission with the aim to take the MRR to one of our key markets. By targeting such a varied group of guests, the event provided opportunity and great cross-industry involvement.
