Can you help? Borderless Friendship WA Inc – Fundraiser

By September 14, 2015Get Involved

Borderless Friendship WA Inc (BFWA) is a not-for-profit Western Australian organisation that enhances the lives of hill tribe children living in remote parts of Northern Thailand. These children are mostly without ID and have little or no Thai language skills, speaking mainly their tribal language (mainly Lahu, from Myanmar). They are at high risk of sex and drug trafficking. The only real way to protect them is to house, feed and educate.

Block Branding (the brains behind our fabulous new brand), are helping to organise a fundraiser on October 2nd at Royal Perth Yacht Club Annexe in Fremantle to raise funds to build a hostel to enable some of the children to obtain secondary and tertiary education. There are currently few prospects for these children obtaining this education. Amazingly, they have already been gifted the land, and are now just in need of a building.

Block are hoping that the local businesses may be able to help in raising money in their silent auction. 100 to 150 people are expected to attend the function at $100 per ticket that includes dinner, drinks and a live band. If you are able to contribute anything that could be added to the silent auction or raffle.
