SunSmart IRONMAN – Changed Traffic Conditions

IRONMAN will be returning to Busselton for the annual SunSmart IRONMAN Western Australia triathlon. We are now just under a 2 weeks away from the event held on Sunday the 6th of December, 2015.  Please find attached the changed traffic conditions which will help you to get around during the event. There are also additional changed traffic conditions across event week on supporting roadways, car parks and boat ramps as listed in the attached.

Please take extra care communicating these changed traffic conditions to restored staff, delivery drivers or booking on this day as they may need to plan around these changes.

Local Access Arrangements

As a Busselton business / resident, the changes to normal traffic conditions will have an impact your travel during the event period, however we will work to ensure that any impacts are limited. Where possible, we ask you to make alternate travel plans during this period. However, should you need to travel, access arrangements will be in place to assist you. If you have specific travel arrangements that you would like to discuss with us, please contact us to discuss these in further detail.

We would like to thank you for your understanding, cooperation and support for the 2015 SunSmart IRONMAN Western Australia.

Our volunteers are the driving force behind the success of our events. Without their efforts the support offered to staff, service delivered to the athletes, and the care taken with the spectators would not be possible!

Volunteering at IRONMAN is a fun, fast and great way to learn what goes on behind the scenes at this global event.
