For those who may have missed it, The Sunday Times ran a feature on the region on the 29th of May. We were hoping for around 4-6 pages of coverage and we got 8, which we’re pretty chuffed about! There was also lots of take up with our operators for advertising, which is fantastic. Our caves and lighthouses also got a good plug, as did our new Winter Play Pass, so hopefully this will translate into winter business for the region!

Also noteworthy: our recent launch of the Chinese-language version of the Your Margaret River Region App received fantastic coverage in the The West’s Inside Cover, page 2.

China’s interest in the Margaret River Region is growing by the minute and we’re excited news about the new version of the app is spreading. The app is available for FREE download across Chinese app stores. The app was introduced to industry at the recent Australian Tourism Exchange on the Gold Coast in Queensland. With no official promotion or advertising to the consumer market just yet, the app has already seen upward of 1500+ downlaods in only a few short days, a very promising sign of things to come!
