Applications for the Telstra 2016 Margaret River Regional Business Awards are open.
ALL businesses within the Margaret River Region are invited to enter, you don’t have to be a member of MRCCI or MRBTA.
Recognise your business with a chance of winning a $2500 Industry Development Prize.
Now in their 9th year, the Margaret River Regional Business Awards bring together the local business community, to recognise and celebrate their achievements and outstanding contributions to our region.
The Awards are brought to you by the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and this year they have announced a couple of new categories, created to reflect the diversity of our business community, as well as a few tweaks to the application process and Gala Presentation Dinner, to make 2016 the biggest and best Business Awards yet!
All applications will be judged by an independent panel, and the top performing businesses in each category will be announced as Finalists, gaining automatic entry into the People’s Choice Award, presented by the Village at Margs.
All Finalists will also be showcased by video on the big screen at a special Gala Presentation Dinner and be presented with a Certificate of Excellence, where the Winners of each Category will be announced and awarded a prestigious Winner’s Trophy.
The best performing business across all categories will be recognised as the 2016 Margaret River Regional Business of the Year and take home a $2500 Industry Development Prize, presented by the Augusta-Margaret River Shire.
Where appropriate, winners of the 2016 Margaret River Regional Business Awards will be eligible to enter the 2016 West Australian Regional Small Business Awards, presented by the Small Business Development Corporation.

Best Micro Business presented by the Small Business Development Corporation
Applicants must have fewer than five full time or equivalent employees
Best Small Business presented by South Regional TAFE
Applicants must have five to ten full time or equivalent employees
Best Business with 11+ Employees presented by Ventura Homes
Applicants must have more than ten full time or equivalent employees
Best Home-Based Business presented by Home Hardware
Applicants must operate from a home-based office
Excellence in Digital Business presented by Telstra
Applicants must demonstrate success in Digital Business
Excellence in Tourism presented by the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association
Applicants must demonstrate excellence in the tourism industry
Finest Local Producer presented by The Larder
Applicants must produce or craft local beer, wine or food
Excellence in the Community presented by Settlers Tavern
Applicants must make a significant contribution to the community outside of their usual operations
People’s Choice Award presented by The Village at Margs
