You’re invited to a party…a first birthday party for the Fraser Gallop Estate cellar door! The festive season might be behind us, but it’s nice to have another good excuse to get together with colleagues and industry in the setting summer sun!

Join us at the cellar door for drinks, nibbles and a chat about this 5 red star James Halliday winery.

But that’s not the only birthday, this year the  Western Australian Circus Festival will also be celebrating its 10th birthday so we’re sending in the clowns to give us the scoop on the acts coming to “Karridale” from 27 – 29 January!


Fraser Gallop Estate is set upon 165 acres of undulating land on Metricup Road, Wilyabrup, in the Margaret River region. It is a marvellous location close to other premium producers. Six kilometres from the coast the climate is warm and dry, moderated by the effect of the Indian Ocean.

They’ve planted Cabernet Sauvignon (17 acres). Merlot (1 acre), Cabernet Franc (1 acre). Petit Verdot (1 acre), Malbec (1 acre). Chardonnay (17 acres) and Semillon (7 acres).

Their philosophy is to allow the fruit to speak for itself. Through minimal intervention and the use of traditional techniques, as well as the latest technology, we strive to create wines that show balance and finesse upon release and have the structure and pedigree to thrive with careful cellaring.
