The MRBTA enjoyed a fantastic turnout of over 190 members and guests at last week’s Member Mingle at the new Busselton Visitor Centre. Attendees were able to wander the new Railway House Interpretive Centre and test some of the new interactive visitor servicing tools (virtual reality, interactive 360-degree video and interactive regional maps) the association is rolling out across the visitor centre network.

Naomi Searle and the City of Busselton airport team gave an update and overview of works underway at the Busselton Margaret River Regional Airport to support regular passenger transport (RPT) services; Visitor Centre Manager, Matt Norton announced a major cruise industry award coup for Busselton; and new members and co-hosts YsEpicure presented an overview to their new food & beverage online retail store launching this month. We were also super privileged to be joined by Tourism WA’s Global Market Manager team who were in the region for briefings and updates with the MRBTA, ASW and international trade ready tourism product operators.

Many thanks to our amazing co-hosts Credaro Family Estate for their wine and brews, Wonderland Tents & Events for their beautiful glassware and Al Forno’s amazing catering efforts.
