Upgrade of cottage at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

As part of the overall $2.14 million upgrade to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, after extensive consultation with the State Heritage Office and a heritage architect,  cottage 2 has received much needed restoration works. Cottage 1 is now undergoing refurbishment to complement the site.
Recently, new asphalt was laid over the main walkway. The restoration of the weather beaten outhouses continues, with the exterior of two of the three completed.
