The folks at Ronald McDonald Hike for the House are seeking product donations from local businesses to showcase the region to 40 guests participating in a charity hike next February.
All money raised from the charity hike will go to Ronald McDonald House Perth, which keeps families close by providing a home away from home for regional WA families who have a sick child receiving hospital treatment in Perth.
The Hike for the House team would like to supply local goodie bags in the rooms as a thank you to participants and a way to further showcase the region.
They would greatly appreciate anything locally made that could work in a hamper, for example nougat, chocolate, candles, moisturisers, soaps, gourmet muesli, biscuits, books, olive oils, etc.
Tickets are $3100 for the 4 day all-inclusive event, and Ronald McDonald Hike for the House expects to raise around $35,000 subject to final numbers.
Tickets just went on sale last month and are already 50% sold.
