Channel 7’s long-running lifestyle program, Better Homes and Gardens, showcased Perth and WA’s South West, as part of the program’s two-part, All About Australia series.

Fast Ed travelled around the South West, meeting local producers and cooking in Perth and some of the South West’s most picturesque and interesting locations, including Busselton, Margaret River, and Manjimup.

The episode, which aired on Friday, October 6, saw Fast Ed fish for squid off Busselton Jetty, forage for native ingredients with Josh Whiteland of Koomal Dreaming, and cook in Perth’s Urban Orchard.

If you missed the program, the episode is now available online.

The program really is one of Australia’s best lifestyle programs still made in Australia, that reaches around 700,000 viewers through its broadcast alone every Friday night – with integration across the Seven West media network including social and online.

Tourism WA worked with the producers of the program, as did many operators in the region – many thanks to everyone who participated.
