It’s just 5 sleeps ’til raceday, when over 3,000 athletes descend on Busselton for the 2017 Sun Smart IRONMAN Western Australia (Sunday 3rd December). Organisers are still seeking the assistance of event volunteers!
Since its inception in 2004, the annual Busselton event is considered not only the fastest, but one of the most scenic races on the IRONMAN event calendar globally. With a solid reputation for being a friendly and atmospheric event, it is also much-loved by competitors and organisers alike, overwhelmingly due to the support received by the local community and event volunteers.
This year’s event will run concurrently with IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia and IRONKIDS Busselton (Saturday 2nd December). A course and event of this magnitude and duration requires an army of over 1500 registered volunteers. You’re invited to support our visiting athletes, your community or simply to be part of the atmosphere by registering as a volunteer!
