Applications for Tourism WA’s 2018-19 Regional Events Scheme (RES), supported by Royalties for Regions, are now open. The deadline for applications is 5pm WST on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
The 20119-20 RES will include the Regional Aboriginal Events Scheme, a funding pool of $150,000 that only events delivering Aboriginal experience and activities through the leadership and participation of Aboriginal people are eligible to apply for.
The scheme offers funding for eligible regional events held between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020 that have the ability or potential to attract visitors to the region, achieve media attention and involve and inspire the local community.
Event holders can apply for funding between $5,000 and $40,000. A funding pool of up to $1,000,000 has been allocated for the 2019-20 RES round.
