$12M Funding Boost for WA Tourism

Tourism WA

The State Government is committing an extra $12 million for marketing campaigns to boost the Western Australian tourism industry.  These campaigns will be targeting key international audiences in South-East Asia and UK, USA and Germany. Funding will go towards a variety of marketing activities shown to have a strong impact on generating bookings including partnerships with airlines, online travel agents, inbound tour operators and major hotels.

Tourism WA Board Chairman Nathan Harding said a boost of this scale would make a big difference to tourism outcomes.
