Winter Promotion: Winter Play Pass Offers

By May 9, 2019May 13th, 2019Promotional Opportunity

With the winter months approaching, we are excited to push out a campaign that helps to promote your business during the quieter season. As the beach weather winds down, visitors look to the major events happening in June, July and August as well as the excitement of whale season, warm wintery meals, and fireside venues to gather around with friends.

Winter Play Pass

We will be re-launching the Winter Play Pass in 2019, which is suited to tours, attractions, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and accommodation providers, and works on the simple basis of an e-voucher which can be downloaded from margaretriver.com and redeemed at participating venues. The 2019 Winter Play pass will be heavily promoted to our consumer database and given prominence in our visitor centres, and via margaretriver.com

  • Promotional Opportunity

Your Winter Deal will feature on a landing page that will be heavily promoted to visitors. As part of this, Your Margaret River Region will display a homepage banner and an online pop-up encouraging visitors to view the Winter Play Pass page. Social media posts through Your Margaret River Region’s Instagram and Facebook pages will also be pushed out and participating members will be encouraged to take part in a social media blitz where consumers are notified of the deals on the same date.

  • Which Deals Work Best?

Wintery themed deals will always appeal to consumers at this time of year, so think about the product you are offering. In terms of the deal, feedback from last year’s campaign indicated that deals above 15% attracted more visitors, as well as enticing offers like two for ones or free bottle of wine or coffee with the purchase of something else.

  • How Do You Get Involved?

To submit your winter offer, send a 50 word description, high-res image and instructions on how to claim to Marketing Coordinator Sophie Mathewson: [email protected]
