The Marketing team coordinated a winter instameet from July 20th – 23rd. A group of seven Instagram photographers, videographers, and journalists were invited to experience the region over three days and encouraged to share their wintery experiences through Instagram stories. The group took part in a host of experiences including Cabin Fever and Open Studio’s pre-event teasers, a long table lunch at Ellensbrook on Mokidup, horse riding and caving.
The Instameet Stories shared via the MRBTA Instagram channel during the event reached over 35k people and had a total 37k impressions. Best of all, @margaretriver was mentioned in stories and posts from each of the seven guests. MRBTA are collecting images that were taken during the event and will make these available for media use in our image asset library.
