Post-Lockdown Plan to Come Into Effect 6pm, Friday, February 5

By February 5, 2021COVID-19

Last night WA Premier Mark McGowan advised that providing no community transmission is recorded today, the South West will return to its pre-lockdown conditions from 6pm this evening.

People in Perth and the Peel region will be unable to travel to the South West for non-essential purposes for the next week. The State Government predicts that should there be no community transmission over the next week, the State will return to Stage 4 restrictions from Sunday 14th February.

While we are no doubt all relieved that the lockdown has been short-lived, tourism visitation to businesses will remain restricted over the coming week.

Pre-lockdown requirements for the entire State still remain in place, and include mandatory contact registers for most WA businesses and venues.
