Experiential Travel Summit: A reciprocal learning opportunity

How do we take early-stage risks and test the waters before we invest time and money in new ideas?  How do we make sure our idea is something that customers really want? What does co-designing with the customer actually mean?

The Experiential Travel Summit (ETS) has collaborated with local South West businesses to provide a reciprocal learning opportunity!

As part of the ETS conference ticket Howard Park, Woodlands, Walk Talk Taste, Bettenay’s Margaret River and One Table Farm are inviting our delegates to test their ideas & experiences. The aim…? To gather meaningful constructive feedback for experience makers and to foster connection between participants and encourage dialogue around what great experiences in WA look like and what great new experiences could be created.

Here’s a little sneak peak of what you’ll get to try…

Howard Park – The Art of sparkling

Showcasing Champagne and Méthode Traditionelle sparkling wine from our Howard Park, Marchand &Burch and Franck Bonville ranges, you will sample a wide range of award-winning wines, discovering the nuanced terroirs of our Great Southern and French vineyards. You’ll also get to enjoy a delectable charcuterie selection sourced from nearby farms then retire to our intimate lounge or move to an outdoor table to relax and appreciate the beauty of the nearby native forest.

Woodlands – Woodlands Cabernet Vertical

“Experience Woodlands Cabernet Sauvignon through the ages with four seminal vintages of one of Australia’s leading wines. Along the way you’ll learn all about our grape growing and wine making philosophy, but the goal is to tell the story of how all the factors manifest themselves in each wine.”

Walk Talk Taste – The Gourmet Glamp

Come and have an insightful guided tour of Gourmet Glamp experience with Kellie plus billy tea and damper by the campfire (weather permitting).  This is bush luxe at its finest. Sumptuously furnished for comfort, intimacy and warmth, generously stocked with the region’s premium artisan produce for your relaxed enjoyment.  It’s everything you’ve been craving… and so much more. There’s one tent only and as much privacy or interaction as you desire.

Bettenay’s – Toasty Tastings by the Fire

Embrace the winter months, rug up and sit by the campfire. Enjoy a guided fireside tasting of Bettenays Estate Wines & Liqueurs. Followed by damper (cooked on the campfire) and dips, then choose your nougat flavour to toast on the fire. Finish with a mug of Nougaretto hot cocoa or coffee and tour of Bettenays.

One Table Farm – Sustainable Living Farm Tours

Come and visit our small farm on a sustainability tour.  We’ll walk you through our 1600m2 orchard full of a diverse range of producing trees and introduce you to our animals that are raised using high welfare and low stress handling techniques.  Bring all your questions, have a cup of tea or coffee, eat some freshly baked sourdough and take home some new knowledge.

The ETS is hosted by Vasse Felix wines…

“Vasse Felix is pleased to be a partner of the 2021 Experiential Travel Summit. We look forward to welcoming ETS delegates to the Estate for what will no-doubt be a very inspiring day for anyone delivering wine, food and tourism experiences”
