Access to the Leavers Entertainment Zone and Meelup BeachFest
The Leavers bus is the only way!
Quickest and safest access to and from The Zone and BeachFest at Meelup is via the official bus stops and park and ride locations located in Busselton, Broadwater and Dunsborough. This bus service is included in the wristband purchase. Private vehicles, taxis, on-demand-transport or other charter vehicles do not have direct access to either site.
Bus charter or minibus services for accommodation venues located outside the official bus route will have access to a designated pick-up and drop-off area, close to the Busselton (see map) and Dunsborough (see map) bus pick up area. We recommend outlining clear timeframes and meeting points with your guests and using the same routine for the entire week.
South West Coach Lines (official wristband bus service provider) recommend an early drop-off between 7pm-8pm and a return service between 12.00-12.30pm (Zone closes 1am). Royal Life Saving WA suggest a drop-off between 10.30am-11.30am and return service between 2.00pm-3.00pm for your guests to make the most of the Meelup BeachFest on Wednesday 24th November.
No public parking or access will be available at the Leavers Entertainment Zone. There will be a road closure from 6pm – 1.30am of Vasse-Yallingup Siding Road from Quindalup Siding Road to Chain Avenue, for each night of the Leavers Entertainment Zone.
No public parking or access will be available to the Meelup BeachFest on the Wednesday. There will be traffic management in place. Please use the park-n-rides in Dunsborough Town or the Leavers bus to get to the beach.
There will also be traffic management and speed reductions in effect from 9.00am Saturday 20 November until 4.00pm Friday 26 November 2021 outside Four Seasons Holiday Park and the resorts across to the bus pick up area at Broadwater on Bussell Hwy.
