Together with our partners, over recent years MRBTA has become increasingly focussed on helping businesses to develop new bookable experiences which set the region apart from competitor destinations, and increase its exposure to high value markets.
As a destination, our ultimate goal should be for these experiences to be promoted widely, including by the region’s accommodation providers. For accommodation providers, curating lists of experiences for their target market can offer a point of difference for visitors considering a stay at their property. For the visitor, travelling to a destination where accommodation and experience providers are working closely together creates a seamless experience which appears tailored to their needs.
MRBTA is currently supporting the creation of bookable experiences and fostering connections between accommodation and experience providers with the following initiatives:

Ongoing Product Development Assistance
As part of our focus on supporting interstate visitation to the region, we are offering a 1-1 mentoring program for MRBTA members who wish to receive tailored advice on building your visitor experience and increasing your visibility in interstate markets.
The program is delivered in partnership with ASW and has received funding from the Australian Government under the Recovery for Regional Tourism program, an initiative of the $1 billion COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund.More Information
