Launch activity supporting the Jetstar Melbourne-Busselton route has been echoed on the east coast with an event for travel trade held at Pearl Diver bar in Melbourne on Monday 4th April.
The event was attended by travel trade representatives, as well as Jetstar. Guests were served fresh WA oysters, gin cocktails from Giniversity and wine from Leeuwin Estate, Vasse Felix and Xanadu Wines.
There was also a blind wine tasting organised by Margaret River Wine Association and hosted by Darren Rathbone, owner of Xanadu Wines, with wines from Clairault Streicker, Cape Mentelle, Xanadu Wines and Voyager Estate.
The event was co-hosted by Tourism Western Australia and Australia’s South West.
Trade media based in Sydney will receive gift bags with produce from the region and promotional materials.
