Following some recent changes in the team, we’d like to provide a refresh on who-does-what in membership, marketing and visitor servicing at MRBTA.
To get in touch with any of the team below, your first point of contact is the Membership hotline via (08) 9780 5959, or email address [email protected]. The membership office is staffed Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.
The staff members below work alongside a broader team of visitor servicing and marketing experts, who together create over 2 million high quality interactions with visitors each year.
The Membership team acts as the main point of liaison between the region’s tourism community and MRBTA. The team coordinates member training and development and involvement in MRBTA’s marketing initiatives. The team is also responsible for running membership renewals and the publication of the printed regional map.
Marketing is responsible for the custodianship of the destination brand; destination marketing strategy; the destination website at margaretriver.com, as well as marketing campaigns and content. The team is supported by local contractors, writers and photographers who deliver online editorial, social media and the Tales & Trails magazine.

This team responds to visitor queries 364 days per year via a broad range of channels, including the Busselton and Margaret River Visitor Centres and the Central Reservations team (email, telephone, live webchat and direct social media messaging). This team is also responsible for providing a warm welcome to visitors arriving at Busselton on cruise ships, and liaises with Leavers and IRONMAN on bespoke visitor services. The team is supported by two supervisors – Tanya Mann and Helen Hosken, and 12 expert local Visitor Consultants.
