Thank you to everyone who joined us for our September Member Mingle at the White Elephant Beach Cafe, in partnership with the Margaret River Business Network (MRBN)! We enjoyed a beautiful spring evening overlooking the ocean sunset, indulging in delicious food and refreshing wines from Swings & Roundabouts. The mouthwatering canapés and paella made for a perfect night in the café’s welcoming atmosphere.
Kirby Diaz, the Events and Marketing Manager at The White Elephant Beach Cafe, highlighted the café’s unique charm. By day, it offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for enjoying coffee and meals against a stunning beach backdrop. In the evenings, it transforms into an enchanting venue for corporate events and barefoot beach weddings, making it a true gem for seaside ceremonies. Kirby praised the Dunsborough Events team for their exceptional setup, ensuring every detail shines. She also emphasized the café’s warm and friendly staff, committed to providing an outstanding experience for all guests, whether they’re dining or celebrating special occasions.
Rob Gough, President of MRBN, emphasized the importance of collaboration between MRBTA and the Business Network. He noted that these networking events offer invaluable opportunities to share our strengths and explore new possibilities together.
Stuart Hicks, MRBTA Board Chair, noted that there are two positions available on the MRBTA Board and invited nominations from members interested in joining. He also introduced the new Regional Reels, which are perfect for promotions and include videos for Busselton, Dunsborough/Yallingup, Margaret River, and Augusta. Plus, just a quick reminder: entries for the 2024 Margaret River Cellar Door Excellence Award close on 29 September, so be sure to submit your entries!
Overall, the event was a fantastic showcase of the White Elephant Beach Cafe, which has become a must-visit venue for visitors to the Margaret River Region.
