- 4th: Announcement of Melbourne-Busselton direct air service with Jetstar; simultaneous launch event in Melbourne with travel and lifestyle media led by Tourism WA; Initial Jetstar/Tourism WA airfare sale campaign.
- 17th: Initial Airline Information Session with presentations by MRBTA, ASW (Australia’s South West), City of Busselton and TWA (Tourism WA)
November 2019
- Jetstar Magazine’s November issue features 5 pages of editorial on the flight route and the region
- 10th: Live weather cross from Busselton on Weekend Sunrise promoting flights. Funded by MRBTA and ASW in cooperation with Busselton Jetty
- 12th: Airline Ready training for accommodation providers
- 13th: Airline Ready training for tour operators
- 15th – 18th: Jetstar/Tourism WA airfare sale campaign
- 22nd: Airline Ready training for non-bookable product
December 2019

- Qantas Advertorial: Advert plus native editorial – ‘a weekend of wine and luxury in the Margaret River region tasting and sampling the best of the region’; Travel Insider Wineries Article and Gallery featuring outlining the best wineries and cellar doors with a separate listing for each member (12 months lifespan)
March 2020
- MRBTA, ASW & TWA travel trade event in Melbourne, followed by sales calls in regional Victoria
- 25th: Initial flight arrives at Busselton-Margaret River Airport; Passengers include a delegation of media and influencers invited by Tourism WA and supported by MRBTA/ASW
May 2020
