2021 WA Leavers Accommodation Operator Pre-Event Briefing

Each year the South West Leavers Planning Group holds a pre-event briefing for all Leavers accommodation providers for the upcoming Leavers week. This year’s official event dates are Monday 22nd – Thursday 25th November 2021.

Members of the WA Police, WA Health, St Johns Ambulance, youth outreach services and South West Coach Lines (official transport providers) will all be in attendance to brief you on this year’s Leavers events and support services as well as answer any questions you may have.

This includes information about:

• Official wristband sales locations and schedules for Busselton & Dunsborough
• Leavers Entertainment Zone and Meelup Beachfest access for private vehicles, taxi, charter vehicles and on-demand transport
• Traffic management around bus service stops and park and rides, road closures around the Leavers Entertainment Zone
• Guidelines and recommendations for making Leavers a COVID safe event

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of key agencies around elements of the event as well as information provided to brief your own teams.
