Advanced Facebook Marketing for Tourism: Advertising & Strategy Workshop

August 21, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Did you know that 8 in 10 people are now social media users? Of those users, 94% are active on Facebook. Although it’s certainly had a tough year, it is still one of the most powerful marketing tools small businesses have at their disposal.

This revamped course is perfect for those who have completed the Facebook Marketing for Tourism course, or those who have a good understanding of Facebook already. This advanced course digs deep into the platform, taking a more strategic approach to Facebook. We will address your posting strategy, your goals and the importance on planning. We’ll focus heavily on Facebook advertising; including how to set up and use Pixels, creating the right audience and campaign structure, and how to really understand your results.

The workshop covers the following topics:

  • The Algorithm
  • Develop Your Strategy
  • Define Your Goals
  • The importance of planning
  • Content Strategy
  • Engagement
  • Running an Advertising Campaign
    • Ads Manager
    • Campaign Structure
    • Choose Your Objectives – The Campaign
    • Choose Your Audience – The Ad Set
    • Build the Creative – The Advert
  • The Pixel & other tracking
  • Understanding the results

This workshop is great for those who have already completed the Facebook Marketing for Tourism workshop, or those who are already familiar and comfortable with Facebook.  It’s great for those looking to bring a more strategic approach to their Facebook marketing, or those looking to improve their advertising results.
