Tourism WA Cellar Door Capacity Building Workshop

Designed specifically for Western Australia’s wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries, this workshop will be delivered by industry experts Robin Shaw from Wine Tourism Australia and Charlotte Prouse from Destination Marketing Store.
The aim of the program is to assist wineries, breweries and distilleries to recognise and build upon their tourism potential and develop and deliver high quality cellar door experiences. The program is being funded by Tourism Western Australia and there is no cost to attend. Further detail about the program can be found in this invitation and information sheet.
The Margaret River workshop is on Tuesday 22 May 2018 at Aravina Estate.
If you can’t make this date, you may be able to attend a workshop outside of the region, depending on availability of spaces.
Friday 25 May 2018 – Geographe and Blackwood Vallley, St Aidan Winery
Tuesday 29 May 2018 – Manjimup, Pemberton and Blackwood Valley, Venue TBC (Manjimup)
Thursday 31 May 2018 – Great Southern, Venue TBC (Mount Barker)
Tuesday 5 June 2018 – Peel and Perth Hills, Byford Country Club
Thursday 7 June 2018 – Swan Districts and Perth Hills, Sandalford Wines
The workshops are capped at 35 participants each, to ensure the interactive nature of the day. It is therefore important that participants get their nominations in as soon as possible to secure their place. While we initially suggest one attendee per business at the workshop, there may be a possibility for extra attendees, subject to availability. If someone is unable to attend their region’s nominated workshop, there may be a chance to attend a different workshop (also subject to availability).
The workshops are a great chance to hear from industry experts, and for businesses to participate in follow-up activities.
