WA Leavers Dunsborough – Accommodation Debrief

The South West Leavers Planning Group (SWLPG) invites operators to attend an industry de-brief from the 2018 WA Leavers event, to help inform planning around another successful event in 2019.

The meeting will be held on:
Thursday 28th March 2019
3pm – 4pm
Koloorup Room, City of Busselton
2 Southern Drive (cnr Causeway Road), Busselton
(entry via staff car park end and rear of building – see map)

Who should attend?

• Managers of accommodation operations who host school leavers during the event period each year
• Managers of accommodation who are thinking of hosting school leavers on-premise in the future and want to learn more about the event strategy and best practise guidelines when hosting school leavers
• Transport providers who also work with accommodation operators to ferry school leavers to and from the official bus service route locations

What is WA Leavers Dunsborough?

The WA State Government Leavers Strategy is a harm minimisation response to School Leaver’s celebrations in the South West. Events occurring outside of the Strategy and in other locations; such as boat parties and pre/post Leavers week event are not supported by the WA Police Force, the Department of Health, or partner organisations.

Official dates for WA Leavers in 2019 is 18-21 November.
