Becoming a Tourism Supporter is free-of-charge, and you can sign up as an individual, business or organisation. It is a great way to support your local tourism industry and to ensure that we’re all playing our part to welcome visitors in a coherent way across the region.

The Tourism Supporters’ network is not available to businesses and organisations which offer their services to visitors. These businesses are able to access the consumer exposure and training and development opportunities which come with MRBTA membership. 

As a Tourism Supporter, you will: 

• Access our visitor information resources to help you recommend high-quality experiences and travel tips with any visitors you may interact with. 
  For example: Access to the nationally commended Tales & Trails magazine; the regional printed map; online itineraries and stories.

• Learn the latest news from local businesses striving to deliver world-class experiences, including award-winning local restaurants, wineries, events, tours and accommodation providers.
  For example: Local businesses with sustainability accreditation 
   
• Have your say on the vision for tourism in this region, through participation in consultation processes and in events such as our annual Tourism Forum.
  For example: Sharing your feedback on our Strategic Directions 2022-2025
   
• Receive updates on the work of MRBTA and our Capes Foundation division to develop tourism in a way which benefits the community.
  For example: Updates on our work to support the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park 

How to Join  

Becoming a Tourism Supporter is free-of-charge – we just ask that you tell us a bit about yourself before joining, and that you renew your commitment to being a ‘Supporter’ of the industry each year.
