Working With Bookeasy

 

This section helps you to understand how & where you should be updating your information after the implementation of the Member Console and changes to Membership Packages in 2019/20.

Non-Bookable Product

This includes all businesses with a Standard Membership and Essentials Members that don’t have Rooms or Experiences set up in Bookeasy.

You will no longer use Bookeasy to update your listings on margaretriver.com.  All updates to your information will be done through the member console.

Bookable Product: No Channel Manager

This includes all Essentials members with Rooms & Experiences bookable through Bookeasy.

While your direct link now offers visitors the opportunity to book with you direct, our Visitor Servicing teams are still able to book your product using Bookeasy for the enquiries we receive internally.

This means that you will need to continue to update your rates and availability via Bookeasy.

Bookable Product: With Channel Manager

This includes all Essentials members with Rooms & Experiences bookable through Bookeasy.

While your direct link now offers visitors the opportunity to book with you direct, our Visitor Servicing teams are still able to book your product using Bookeasy for the enquiries we receive internally.

This means that you will need to continue channeling rates and availability to Bookeasy via your channel manager.

Important Note for ALL Bookable Product

 

Bookeasy is still an important part of your MRBTA Membership and continues to allow our Visitor Servicing teams to book your product for customers that enquire through our channels.

The below information aims to break down the booking process for you.  Ultimately, you can receive bookings through your MRBTA Membership in two ways:

Online: An increasing amount of visitors choose to book entirely online.  These visitors will be directed to your chosen website from your margaretriver.com listing.  This helps you to own the customer journey and any bookings they make through your website will be commission free.

MRBTA Visitor Servicing: Our Visitor Servicing teams continue to field enquiries from visitors via telephone, email and the online chat function on margaretriver.com.  It is important that you keep your rates/availability and important product information up-to-date in Bookeasy so MRBTA staff can secure bookings for you with visitors that use our channels.

Keeping Bookeasy Up-To-Date

 

Items listed below need to be kept up to date in BOTH Bookeasy and the Console.  This is because the information in Bookeasy also feeds through to the visitor itinerary and is used by the MRBTA Visitor Servicing teams when booking your product.

Accommodation: Check In/Check Out; Room Descriptions; Property Facilities; Directions; Important Information; Operator Terms & Conditions (including Cancellation Policies); Booking Questions.

Tours/Experiences: Tour Description; Booking Notes; Pick Up & Drop Off; Operator Terms & Conditions (including Cancellation Policies); Booking Questions.
