The MRBTA is excited to share with members a sneak preview of some remarkable interactive technology that will soon be installed at all of the visitor centres in the region, designed to significantly enhance the visitor experience, and provide our consultants with another tool in their visitor servicing arsenal.

In a project led by local audio visual expert Mike Dunn from Phimedia, the MRBTA will be utilising VR (virtual reality) and touch screen technology, with high resolution 4k screens installed at our visitor centres that will simulate a realistic interpretation of various tourist experiences across the region using highly advanced technology.

Click on the video below for a sneak peek of what’s to come.

Alongside the development of this technology, we have been busily making improvements within the Your Margaret River Region app, and have launched an audio tour for Busselton Jetty.  Watch the video below to see how it works, this is just the first of many more to come!
