SW Labour Solutions is presenting this online information session for MRBTA members seeking new solutions to secure staff in their business.
SW Labour Solutions is based in Margaret River and has been an Approved Employer under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Scheme for almost 10 years. Through the PALM scheme, eligible businesses can recruit workers for seasonal jobs for up to 9 months or longer-term roles of between one and 4 years in unskilled, low-skilled and semi-skilled positions. These longer-term engagements allow for stability in key positions.
These positions can include:
- Food & Beverage
- Cooks
- Kitchenhands
- Front of House / Reception
- Cleaning
- Porters
Services provided by SW Labour Solutions include recruitment, visa coordination, accommodation assistance, payroll & pastoral care.
Traditionally SW Labour Solutions seasonal worker teams have worked on vineyards in the region, however this year it has partnered with Pullman Bunker Bay Resort to assist in providing a large team of experienced and qualified hospitality and resort workers from Fiji. All the Fijian workers at Pullman Bunker Bay Resort have had 4/5 star experience and hold relevant qualifications.
SW Labour Solutions is providing this information session so the region’s hospitality employers can evaluate whether the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Scheme will work for their business and answer any questions they may have. The session will cover:
- SW Labour Solutions services
- Recruiting processes
- Costs & fees
- Worker accommodation
