This year saw over 1 million member page views, and the Destination Marketing team will be working towards increasing member page views and direct referrals in 2023.
The official destination website at margaretriver.com is the Number 1 travel authority for the Margaret River Region and was newly redeveloped and relaunched in November 2021. The website features:
- Mobile-first design layout with around 70% of traffic coming from mobiles and tablets
- New regional branding gives a fresh, more distinctive and premium look to the website design
- Simplified navigation and richer updated content throughout the site
- Interactive homepage map that highlights the towns and orients visitors
- A breadcrumb trail encourages visitors to stay on the site longer, and navigate more deeply no matter where they ‘land’ on the site
- Improved site performance and faster page load times ensuring strong Google rankings into the future
