This year saw over 1 million member page views, and the Destination Marketing team will be working towards increasing member page views and direct referrals in 2023.

The official destination website at is the Number 1 travel authority for the Margaret River Region and was newly redeveloped and relaunched in November 2021. The website features:

  • Mobile-first design layout with around 70% of traffic coming from mobiles and tablets
  • New regional branding gives a fresh, more distinctive and premium look to the website design
  • Simplified navigation and richer updated content throughout the site
  • Interactive homepage map that highlights the towns and orients visitors
  • A breadcrumb trail encourages visitors to stay on the site longer, and navigate more deeply no matter where they ‘land’ on the site
  • Improved site performance and faster page load times ensuring strong Google rankings into the future

Your Member Listing Page

As a tourism business member, you will have your own your unique business listing page at

Your listing page features a prominent ‘Visit Website’ button, linking the visitor to your own website. This enables you to point the visitor in whichever direction you wish them to go – e.g. to book direct with you, to learn about your cellar door, or to view your latest announcements.

Other features of your business listing pages include:

  • Events, itineraries and stories featuring your business are displayed, helping visitors to get to know you better
  • Your Instagram and Facebook links
  • Your business amenities & features are prominent, to quickly show the visitor how you meet their needs
  • ‘Visit Website’ Button is highly prominent and scrolls with the page on mobile encouraging users to book direct

Additional Business Listings

If you have multiple businesses, or your business offers more than one activity type (e.g winery & accommodation), you can promote your offerings distinctly by purchasing additional listings on and the regional printed map (criteria applies).  Additional listings cost $200 per membership year.  If you would like to add a listing to your membership, please complete our application form.

Content Calendar

The Margaret River Region’s annual content plan is available for members to read here. Members can express interest in being included in blog stories each month, with opportunities listed through our marketing e-newsletters.

The trusted itineraries and stories published are shared across a number of channels, including consumer e-newsletters (database over 40k), social media channels (combined audience over 130k), and through the region’s Visitor’s Centres. View some of the latest articles here.

MRBTA’s content plan remains fluid, allowing us to respond to the changing travel landscape and consumer and member demands. We encourage members to submit story ideas throughout the year, so that we can validate the needs of our tourism operators and transfer these needs to consumer-friendly stories.

Cost: Native content inclusions are free of charge for MRBTA members. Priority is given to ‘Primary’ Membership holders.
