Set sail from the new Augusta Boat Harbour – the whales are on their way!

Local tour boat operators are making preparations, with the expectation for whale watching tours in Flinders Bay to commence over the long weekend at the end of May, departing from the fantastic new Augusta Boat Harbour that officially opened last November.

Visitors can prepare for what is anticipated to be another bumper whale watching season in The Margaret River Region, Western Australia. Up to 35,000 Humpback and Southern Right Whales, and even the occasional rare Blue Whale, travel through the region’s waters on their northern migration.
Save the date for the official Blessing of the Fleet at the Augusta Boat Harbour on Sunday the 31st of May. More details to follow shortly.
