The iconic SunSmart IRONMAN Busselton is just around the corner on Saturday the 4th of December, 2016!
Incorporating the iconic Busselton Jetty, SunSmart IRONMAN Western Australia is renowned worldwide for being the place to go for a personal best, with the bike and run courses amongst the flattest on the global IRONMAN circuit. Since its debut on the Australian calendar in 2004 the Sunsmart IRONMAN event has seen tremendous growth, both in size and reputation among the triathlon community, and has achieved global recognition as a world class sporting event.
The Busselton event has become enormously popular with athletes and spectators alike and is renowned as a spectacular destination race. A huge amount of the event’s success is due to the high level of support offered by the City of Busselton and its residents.
An exciting event of this scale does mean increased traffic and road closures, so we encourage you to stay up to date on how you, guests and/or patrons may be affected. The event also coincides with a cruise ship arrival from the Sun Princess.
