Tourism WA recently shared a snapshot of the marketing activity delivered specifically to promote the Margaret River region in 2018-19 by Tourism Western Australia. The below document highlights Media/PR, famils, event support and campaign activity in each of their core markets. The grand total of activity is over $5 million. The snapshot does not include digital activity, such as website content and social media promotion in which the Margaret River region features heavily.
Some of the highlights include; 40 famils trade, broadcast and media with 300 delegates in total, securing Masterchef filming and associated Create Your Own Gourmet Escape campaign, the ‘Way More Than Wine’ campaign targeted at Victoria and NSW and campaigns with key travel partners including Qantas, Expedia, Virgin and Hello world.
