Coral Princess returns 16 March to Busselton

The region will again welcome the Coral Princess to Busselton on Saturday 16th March 2024. With 1970 passengers and 900 crew, the visit is part of an 11-day Southern Australia Explorer itinerary, starting in Fremantle and ending in Sydney.

The ship is scheduled to anchor at 7am in Geographe Bay and depart by 4pm, giving passengers several hours to explore ashore, after arriving by tender. She last visited the region in October 2022.

Traffic management will be in place for Foreshore Pde, Busselton from 7am – 12pm to help facilitate the staging and loading of several shore excursion tour programs heading to venues and attractions across the region.

A City Hopper courtesy bus will also be in operation between 10am – 3pm to help visitors explore around the Busselton town centre.

Princess Cruises is a cruise line within the Carnival group with a fleet of 15 ships, each with passenger capacities of between 2,000 and 3,000 passengers. It is one of few cruise lines to base ships in Australia year-round.  Princess Cruise offer a premium style of cruise with many ship amenities and services, but with a brand culture representing exploration mixed with relaxation.

Passengers are most likely to be value-traveler couples of both Australian and American nationality. Age groups aboard will predominantly be 50-70s with potential for some multi-generational families, travelling together also.

The Carnival Australia group is a house of cruise brands which also includes P&O, Cunard, Carnival, Holland America and Seabourn.
