Leavers WA 2023: Accommodation Operator Pre-Event Briefing

Accommodation and local transport providers hosting students as part of the Leavers WA celebrations (Monday 20th November – Thursday 23rd November 2023), are invited to the 2023 pre-event briefing, hosted by the South West Leavers Planning Group (SWLPG)

Members of the planning group including WA Police, City of Busselton, youth outreach services and South West Coach Lines (official Wristband package transport providers) will all be in attendance to brief you on this year’s Leavers event schedule and logistics information to assist you to support your Leavers guests.

11am – 12pm
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams

The briefing will cover:

• Official wristband collection locations and schedules for Busselton, Vasse & Dunsborough
• Leavers Entertainment Zone and Meelup Beachfest access and restrictions (no private vehicles, taxi, charter vehicles or on-demand transport access)
• Traffic management around bus service stops and park and rides, road closures around the Leavers Entertainment Zone
• Guidelines and recommendations for making Leavers a happy and safe experience for all

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of key agencies around elements of the event as well as information provided to brief your own venue teams.
