The BEST is OFF the Highway! One of the few Advanced Ecotourism Australian Accredited tours in the southern half of Western Australia – Pemberton Discovery Tours will take you to places you cannot venture in a conventional vehicle. To truly discover the area, you can’t miss the Pemberton Discovery Tour – “Beach & Forest Eco Adventure”. This four hour eco-tour (Wildflower tour in season) departs daily and travels through the Yeagarup Dunes (the largest Land locked Sand Dune System in the Southern Hemisphere), through giant sections of old growth Karri forest, to the mouth of the Warren River in the Warren & D’Entrecasteaux National Parks. They also offer a Wine Discovery Tour. The Pemberton Discovery Centre, where they operate out of, also has gifts, souvenirs, mountain bike hire and Pemberton’s newest attraction ‘Minigolf @ the Clubhouse’. The tours take in the area directly to the South West of Pemberton. Pemberton is only 30km from the beach and the dunes lie between the coast and Pemberton.
