Sally Phillips, Manager, FTA Program, Austrade

Sally joined Austrade in 2005 and currently is the Manager of Austrade’s FTA Program. Sally has 20 years of professional experience dealing with Japan in both corporate and government roles and has spent over 12 years living in a number of Japan’s major cities and regions. In Austrade, Sally has held the roles of Consul and Trade Commissioner based in Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo where she was responsible for the Hokkaido, Chubu, Kansai and Kanto regions respectively, and managed the Food Team.

Ariel Yesberg, Trade Adviser, Food, Austrade

Ariel joined Austrade in 2008 and is currently an international business advisor with a focus on assisting Australian food companies enter new markets. Ariel has completed a short term assignment in South Korea and was the lead author on the Market Entry Guide for Australian businesses under KAFTA, developed with Austrade Seoul.
