Complimentary Season Passes to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse Precinct for Augusta Residents

In the last few years, the MRBTA has spent several million dollars of our own and grant funds on both the upgrading of facilities and the protection of the heritage site of Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse … and we’re not finished yet! There’s lots more to come, with the completion of a fantastic new interpretive centre expected in October of this year.

We now want to share what we’ve done so far. We’ve listened to our visitors, and, although the overall feedback on the grounds audio tours has been five star, a majority also said they’d welcome the chance to wander the grounds and just take in the views, especially if it meant a lower admission fee! So, from July 1st, we are shifting to a lower priced precinct entry.

MRBTA recognises the strong connection local people have to the lighthouse site, and we know that many locals like to bring all their visiting family and friends throughout the year. As such, we are happy to announce we are offering all residents of Augusta a complimentary Season Pass to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse Precinct. For more information, and to claim your complimentary Season Pass, simply visit the lighthouse and present your identification showing your local address.

We hope you’ll come to visit us soon and see what we have achieved at this beautiful heritage site.
