Thank you to all members who joined our joint event with our friends from the Margaret River Business Network (formerly MRCCI) and RSM Australia at Edwards Wines last week. How wonderful to catch up with old and new faces in a truly stunning cellar door.
Christos and Fiona provided a warm welcome and spoke of their excitement to tell their family story through the winery. A stroll through renowned photographer Russell Ord’s new gallery next door, sipping the beautiful Edwards wine, was a special treat as well.
Miriam Bailey provided an update from the newly renamed Margaret River Business Network (formerly MRCCI). The rebrand aims to better reflect the remit of the organisation. Applications are open for the Margaret River Region Business Awards and businesses are encouraged to apply with the process helping you to reflect on your vision, highlight your achievements and plan for the future.
Sharna Kearney provided a quick update on visitation to the region and the importance of collaboration between tourism and the broader business community in securing outcomes for the region.
A few lucky attendees were recipients of door prizes including wines gifted by RSM and a Margaret River Region Gift Card gifted by MRBTA. The Gift Cards support local businesses and keep money in the region so be sure to check them out if you are stuck for a corporate gift or for those difficult to buy for family & friends.
