Would you like to have the opportunity to boost your business during winter? Do you think that the fantastic produce of the Margaret River region could be promoted even more than it is already? We do! For this reason, as part of the Your Margaret River Region Wine & Food Promotional Plan, the MRBTA and South West Development Commission have identified the opportunity to develop a brand new winter event for 2017.
Many of the event details are still in development, and further information will be available to MRBTA members in mid-August. We can tell you that the event will have two main objectives:
- To further establish the Margaret River Region’s reputation as one of Australia’s premier wine and food destinations.
- To attract visitors to the region over a traditionally quiet period. The target markets are Local & South West (40% initially); Perth (45%) and Singapore/Indonesia/Malaysia (short-haul) (15%).
